Stitchable Sweater Ornaments

These adorable cardigan sweater ornaments will add some knitting inspired flair to your Christmas Tree!  Sweater ornaments make a great handmade gift and can even be used as gift tags.  Gift one to a crafty friend or keep it for yourself.  The holes in each ornament are left unstitched so you can embroider the color work details using a needle and yarn or embroidery floss. The possibilities for how to adorn the yoke and cuffs of these little sweaters are limitless.

• 1 unstitched Sweater Ornament blank

• 7" length of cotton cord to use for hanging your ornament

•  Size 24 tapestry needle

• Embroidery thread

• Felt Backing 

The Sweater Ornament Blank includes:

• 1 unstitched Sweater Ornament blank

• 7" length of cotton cord to use for hanging your ornament  

A size 24 or 26 tapestry needle and embroidery thread are recommended for stitching these ornaments and are not included in the purchase of the Sweater Ornament Blank.  

If you would like to hide the back of your ornament, it can easily be covered with a pretty piece of paper or a fabric such as felt when you're finished working on the stitching.

When writing on your Sweater, Ultra Fine Point Sharpie markers or Micron markers work great.  Thicker Sharpies or other non-permanent markers may feather or bleed on the grain of the wood.  (Markers are not included).
