This little portable easel is an ideal surface for watercoloring on the go. Use clips or rubber bands to attach a portable palette, cloth, watercolor journal and brushes. With your tools attached to the easel, you can easily paint in your lap, or hold the easel in one hand and paint with the other.
This easel has a notch at the bottom edge that can be used to attach a journal. Lift the leaves of your journal away from the covers and insert them into the slot. Then let them down over the top of the board and clip the pages down with the binding and covers sitting underneath. This attaches the book securely to the easel and leaves room at the top of the board for supplies. Alternately, tape or clip a small painting onto the board itself to use the surface as a small lap board.
Because this is made of a natural material, each easel is unique. There may be knots or visible grain patterns in the surface of the wood.
